bathroom wall art
I love elephants -- who better to bathe along with me? Either of these posters could go well above the soaking tub.

This is the bathroom in my lawyer's office, which left me entranced as I washed my hands. I don't think I could do a transparent or translucent glass vessel sink in the master bath, though; it needs to sit on top of the counter, not halfway down into a precut hole.
Here's another bathroom sink concept -- handpainted Talavera ceramic sinks!
This one is my favorite.
The previous owners have a large TV mounted on one wall in the living room. I obviously will not be replacing this with my own TV, but am considering other things that might go in its place.
A giant clock?
A wall-mounted stereo?
Or a nice art deco poster?

Now this could enliven a dark dining room set!
This one is neat too, but may not have enough color.

I took this picture in the ladies' room at the P Street Whole Foods. This type of sink could also work as a replacement for the little mixing bowl deal in my master bath -- it'd cover the hole in the countertop, and would be easier to maintain than copper.
I am besotted with these Crate & Barrel bar stools. But if I wind up with three of them in my kitchen, would it then be overkill to kit out my dining room with matching chairs? (Remember, there's no wall between the kitchen and the dining area.)

I love these weeping-willow-esque Marimekko bed linens, but fear that I can't use them on my bed (unless they make an extra-deep queen fitted sheet).
Also, consider that I have a black cat. Who sheds. Copiously. And loves to sleep on my bed.
I like the idea of replacing the bathroom sink -- a tiny (slightly over 11" in diameter) aluminum thing that's smaller than my mixing bowls -- with a bigger copper sink that sits above the countertop. If it could work.
I need a new, good, easily-usable digital camera, ideally one with some sort of wifi connection so that I can email pictures from it to myself. I don't even know where to begin to look for one of these. Any suggestions?

I love the nazar boncugu in Turkish restaurants. I think the proper-sized one would fit right in to the "totem pole" I'm planning for the pillar in my kitchen (currently slated to contain a peacock feather, a Mayan greenstone mask from El Salvador, and a Pennsylvania Dutch hex sign).
Update: I got one! Not sure if I'll keep the surah part on top, but the eye is awesome :)
Must have wine and beer glasses. I've been longing for these ever since I first saw them at Restoration Hardware, five or six years ago.

Does a second-story apartment in a city not known for its foul weather need a welcome mat? Probably not...although this one entranced me.
I've added these links to the sidebar, but here, so Google can see them, are my Amazon wishlist and Crate & Barrel housewarming registry.
For a sense of the colors (although the camera does lie a bit) and the existing decor:
