A warding talisman
I love the nazar boncugu in Turkish restaurants. I think the proper-sized one would fit right in to the "totem pole" I'm planning for the pillar in my kitchen (currently slated to contain a peacock feather, a Mayan greenstone mask from El Salvador, and a Pennsylvania Dutch hex sign).
Update: I got one! Not sure if I'll keep the surah part on top, but the eye is awesome :)
